I now know why my use to be best food friend mister potato is no longer nice to me and has made it impossible for me to eat. It is because the potato clogs my smaller stomach whole. So my trusty go to soft food is no longer my friend. I am giving it up totally. Which is fine. Just one more carb/starch out of my diet. Just frustrating that for 2 days I tried to go to my trusty food and was unable to. I couldn't eat for over 48 hours. All out of my own stupidity. But, now I can eat though testing new foods is kinda interesting. So far I can eat.... apple sauce, yogurt and pasta. I am kinda afraid to venture any further into unknown but that's what this is all about. Learning new things about food, trying out new foods and changing your diet and lifestyle.
So the foods on my can not eat list is: breads, potato chips, potatoes, gummy candies, pudding and stuffing. It is all well worth it though. There are so many other healthier options out there. I don't need to eat those bad foods. Just like today I had a grapefruit and let me tell you it was DELICIOUS. Ok Ok I confess it was only half a grape fruit but still, a little salt and a spoon and you are good to go. I was watching a cooking show the other day and heard this quote "Simple is Best" and I have to tell you that I totally agree!
