Well sad to report but burritos are off the good food list. They are no longer my friend but oh well. I think my biggest problem with them is the lettuce. Which is very sad since I love salad and lettuce loaded burritos but I will make it through. I can still have tender spring lettuce and baby spinach so I am not totally salad-less.
On a good note I found more yogurts that I love. I need to find some protein powders to try. I heard of peanut butter and chocolate so I am thinking I need to try those. I think in some yogurt they would be AMAZING. I also wanna try a few fruit flavored ones that I have heard of in some smoothies. So if anyone has a good smoothie recipe they wanna share I would love you FOREVER!!
Now on an even happier note. I decided not to put it off any longer. I brought out the scale and stepped on it. And, to my surprise I am down to 2-6-8 lbs.... AHHH and a size 16. I am beyond excited. I was worried there for a while that the holidays would sabotage me. BUT, moderation and healthy choices are key. I hear so many people complain about gaining weight around the holidays. But, really the holidays are not about food. They are about being with the ones you love and celebrating the reason for the season. You don't have to stuff yourself to get the holiday "feel". If you eat in moderation and control yourself then you can enjoy all your favorites and still lose weight.
