It is that time of year again. And, I love it. Though sometimes I wonder if people really remember the reason for the season. Christmas is not about spending money, eating a ton or waiting in long lines of traffic. It is about Jesus Christ our Lord and savior being born. It is about being with the ones you love. I mean yes Santa has become a big part of Christmas but does anyone even remember the real reason for "Santa"?? I sure do and I will make sure that my daughter does as well. Santa doesn't have little elves or flying reindeer. He cam about so that the poor little children could wake up with a gift and some food in there stockings that they hung by the fireplace to dry.
It drives me crazy to hear people say that they hate the holidays. I understand that that is their right. But, if more people remembered the reason the for the season I doubt so many people would hate the holidays. I mean yes I love waking up and opening gifts as much as the next person but I also know why we do it. We wake up have some hot tea and cocoa, read the bible passage about Christmas then open presents. I just wish more people would stop and realize the reason for the season. The song "Christmas Shoes" comes to mind when I hear people grumble about the holidays. I do with everyone the happiest of days this holiday season. And, I hope you all stop to remember the reason we celebrate. Religious or not.

Now onto the weight loss. I told you all yesterday that I have hit 268lbs. That is 84lbs lost from the start. And, I am down from a jean size of 26 to a 16. I am pretty darn excited and thought that I would share.
Until next time.....
