Well today I went back to my surgeons office. Figured it was just a check up to see how my last fill has been treating me, since it was only 2 weeks ago. Low and Behold I was surprised with the fact that I got to get a fill. I was ecstatic. Though I had just gotten use to the whole eating again thing last week. LOL! I talked to my doctor about losing weight and my diet. I think I am going to kick it up a notch. I am going to go organic and get away from more white sugars, flours and bad carbs. I already cut out bread but I need to include chips, white flour pasta and regular crackers. I am going to change to whole wheat pasta, organic tortilla chips and wheat thins. I really need to up my protein intake......so any suggestions let me know. I also need to get my butt moving. I am going to do the 30 day shred 3 days a week and walk with my daughter the other 2 days a week. I am also going to do nightly crunches, leg lifts and bicycles. I truly need to find something good for my arms. I do NOT want to get flabby or have old woman angel wings. So again....any suggestions let me know!!
Today after my appointment to help with the motivation to eat even better then I already to I got rid of all the baked goods I baked. After sending a bunch to my family member for Christmas there were still left overs.. So I made goody baskets for the neighbors. I figure since I have sucky rude neighbors this may help them be less...shall we say "grinchy" this holiday season. And, I figure if it doesn't at least help them be a little nicer they can at least gain a pound or two. LOL!! Not really but it would be nice if they were a little less rude. Everyone seemed to enjoy their baskets and it took the temptation out of my house. Because, it is not just me on the journey. My family is along with me. I am making a better healthier menu for both my baby girl and loving husband. We are the 3 muskateers!!
On another note...... after this last fill I am having quite a bit of trouble with gas in my stomach. As I eat or drink I have to take in less then even before. As I take a drink I can fill the bubbles come back up.... not bubbles as in soda just bubbles as in trapped air. It is a weird sensation. One I would prefer not to talk about but I promised not to keep anything back and be fully honest with you all. So here it is.... Sorry if you feel it is a little to much information. I am again on the liquid diet restriction for 24-48 hours. I had an 1/8 of a cup of yogurt tonight for dinner. The one with out fruit chunks unfortunately because those are a no no on the liquid diet. But, even with the yogurt I had the bubble problems. They aren't uncomfortable, just a little weird. I will get through this though as I always do.
