That instead of just writing about the trials and journey of my Lap Band, I would also write a food journal. Food is an important part of life. We need it to feed out muscles, bodies and minds. Though a few of my old favorite recipes I have had to change into new Lap Band friendly meals. I want to share with everyone that healthy can be tasty as well. I want to show people that Lap Band is a lifestyle change. It is not an easy fix. As with any "diet" you must change your mindset and lifestyle. The band is the same way. You have to work, fight, exercise and change to make it work.
There are plenty of people out there that have weight loss surgery and lost initially and then gain it all back plus some. This is the same with any diet. If you aren't willing to change your mind and lifestyle then you aren't ready. Yes everyone has there favorite meals but you can re-invent them and make them healthy. So I feel while I am writing about my journey I should include the meal remixes that I am trying. I have already shared a few lap band friendly recipes but think that I will set aside every weekend to share what worked and didn't. What I remixed and kept the same. I hope you all will follow me through this adventure.
