Little life savers

   Yesterday I forgot to eat. Yes this is one of the down falls of the lap band you just aren't hungry some days. I started getting very light headed and was seeing spots so my loving husband gave me 3 of the new reese's minis. They are amazing and helped me out a ton. Brought my sugar right up and I was able to have some real food. So I thought I would share my little wonder foods.




   After getting my head cleared and the spots to go away. I figured I had better eat something healthy. So I chopped up some pineapple and threw in some raspberries and had a mini fruit salad. Then I drank my new obsession from Starbucks. A shaken black tea with raspberry and NO classic. Delicious!!




   I have to say that this change of diet is wonderful. Not only did I make the initial change I have slowly changed as I go along on this journey. I have added more protein....I have to tell you there are a ton of protein powders and shakes out there but I have fallen in love with the SlimFast chocolate 3-2-1 shakes. My nutritionist told me about them and I am in love. Also the Atkins vanilla are pretty darn good. All of these changes are really paying off. My jeans that I just bought at the end of December are already to big. I think it is time to shrink on down to a size 12/14. I am only 26 pounds away from my 1st goal of 199lbs.
