Merry Christmas Everyone...

You know I have to say I took for granted today what I have always had. I kept missing all my family and friends back in Oregon. Missed the big dinner, fun, laughter, talks, hugs and smiles. But, I had all that today with my little family. I didn't mean to take them for granted but sure did. My hubby brought me back though and I realized just how blessed I am. Some people don't even have a family or warm home to celebrate with or in. And, even though Christmas isn't about gifts, we sure were blessed this year. Not only with the gifts but with the fact that my hubby has a job to provide us with gifts. And, to allow us to spread the cheer and send gifts to our loved ones.

Plus.... "Santa" brought Ky a web cam so we set up Skype and were able to talk to all our loved ones that are miles away. Made me realize just how truly blessed we are to have such loving family even though they are miles and miles away. Technology was able to bring us just a little closer this year. We did also remembered the reason for the season and read baby girl the story of Jesus. We also watch Horton hears a Who and a White Christmas. Both very cute movies.

But, since it was only the 3 of us we cheated with our holiday meal. We had hashbrowns, scrambled eggs and toast for breakfast (I only had a glass of milk). Then for lunch we had homemade krab and cream cheese wontons with chips and layered dip. And, for dinner it was pizza and pumpkin roll for dessert. Here are a few pictures of our Christmas dinner. And, our Christmas day!

Ky got spoiled by both her grandparents!!

I hope you all had a wonderful and Merry Christmas. Be safe and have a wonderful night!

Until next time...
